On Demand Review when someone tells me she just called the guy
she met on the internet, or at the coffee bar, or the cafe, it would
be to turn back the hands of time. She just made a critical mistake.
She talked - too soon - and probably too much. I don't know where in
our upbringing we get the pictures in our head of lazy moments in
bed, sharing hours of deep dark secrets and exploring deep emotional
depths but wherever it came from it is a huge barrier to getting the
guy. If that's what you think is going to happen when you "connect"
then you will find yourself very unconnected very soon.
Women
are social creatures, we love to talk, and connect. Those are lovely
characteristics, much needed in this life. But use them too soon in a
relationship and presto chango, the guy of your dreams is gone. Ditch
the idea that the guy you just met is your soulmate. More likely he
is thinking not of you but of the game he's going to watch or the
presentation he has to make at work or which bar is he going to head
to tonight. What you think was "connecting" was just part
of the game for him. Sure he liked you. Yes, you were fun,
interesting and made him feel good. So what do you do now? STOP!
That's right. Stop. Do nothing.
